SF Recruitment are working with a business in South Derbyshire to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk into their finance team. The role will report directly to the Financial Controller and you will be responsible for the following -

- Produce inputs for Daily Stats & Cashflow
- Process Invoices on system
- Manage batch control spreadsheet
- Post up bank transactions
- Bank reconciliations
- Produce payments
- Month end purchase ledger reconciliation and reports
- Reconcile statements
- Journals & Accruals
- Credit Card reconciliation and posting
- Post petty cash
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Purchase Invoices Filing
- Fixed Asset Register maintenance

Previous experience of working in a purchase ledger role is essential, as well as the ability to work along side others, and the ability to prioritise your own workload. You will need to be IT literate to include the use of Excel. This role is ideal for candidates who are from a purchase ledger background, but would like to take on further tasks and duties within the finance team in order to further develop.
