Flexi working time (25hrs - 37hrs per week)

Our client is a friendly close knit team who support each other and we are looking for someone to compliment this team. It is also a fast paced and varied environment with each day providing different challenges and opportunities

Reporting to the Management Accountants the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be fully accountable for the Purchase Ledger process, from coding and processing invoices to reconciliations against statements

This role is located in a rural area so transport will be required. They are happy for 25 hours + per week up to full time hours so if you want flexible working time they are happy to consider this.

The main duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk are as follows: -

  • Matching and coding invoices
  • Processing of invoices onto accounts package
  • Chasing up Credit Notes required for damaged or missing goods.
  • Reconciling of supplier statements
  • Informing the Senior Finance Assistant responsible for BACS payments when invoices are on and ready for payment
  • Recharging of costs between companies /Processing Staff Expenses / Managing Petty Cash a
  • Being the first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
  • Accurate filing of all invoices and credit notes

Full training will be given about company procedures, but experience with complex coding or multi business companies would be an advantage in this role.

You must have experience in working with purchase ledger and coding for this role.
