As part of our continued growth, the opportunity has arisen for an office Based Purchase Ledger Clerk based in Belvedere. Working in the Finance department and reporting into the Finance Manager. Working on a full time basis with core hours of 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Drafting POs as per Requisition forms provided.

* Ensure drafted POs are approved and then sent to suppliers on time.

* PO reconciliation versus signed PODs and delivery notes, scanning and saving all PO's into the system as per internal procedure.

* Ensure invoices are appropriately authorised prior to posting purchase invoices and credit notes to the system.

* Appropriate administration of the ordering system.

* Purchase invoices reconciliation for the preparation of month end of PL Account.

* Following up/ chasing of;

* Missing invoices/credit notes

* PODs/ Consignments notes/ delivery notes

* Process Staff Expenses into the system (Sage)

* To assist with financial management tasks, when required, including admin tasks specific to the department.

* Scanning invoices on completion.

Person Specification

* Purchase Ledger experience essential

* Book keeping qualification desirable

* Computer literate, including Microsoft Office experience (Word / Excel essential)

* Industry experience desirable

* GCSE Maths and English (A-C)

* High attention to detail essential

* Able to use initiative to resolve issues

* Ability to work under pressure and with large volume of data under minimum supervision at times.

* Accounts software experience, advantage of Sage 50/Xero experience

* Keen to learn and develop
