Elliott Recruitment are pleased to support a Redditch based client with a new opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their growing finance team.

Due to growth my client is seeking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Carry out three way matching of materials invoices received
  • Ensure all purchase invoices are posted to the ledger in a timely manner and that supplier accounts accurately reflect the company's liabilities
  • Work closely with purchasing department to resolve invoice queries within agreed timeframes
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries and payments
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Provide assistance with the processing of fitter pay where required
  • Produce ad hoc analysis of purchases as and when required for management accounts purposes
  • Assist with other financial administration tasks as may be required from time to time

The successful candidate will have at least two years experience in purchase ledger work. You will be a confident user of Excel and have good attention to detail leading to a high degree of accuracy in your work. You will also be a good communicator.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and this will be a hybrid role incorporating both office and home working.
