The Business

Axon Moore are currently working exclusively with an ambitious business-services SME based in Burnley who are urgently searching for a purchase ledger clerk to join their collaborative finance team. Our client puts a great deal of effort into ensuring that their employees have an enjoyable environment to be productive in addition to a great work-life balance.

The Role:

Matching, processing and coding invoices
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Setting up new supplier accounts
Preparation of BAC's payments
Other reconciliations
Expense processing
Respond to and resolve supplier queries

Requirements:

Previous experience in purchase ledger is essential
Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel, Word, Outlook
Knowledge and/or experience in foreign currencies would be beneficial
Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
