Purchase Ledger Clerk - Nottinghamshire - Up to £25,000 + Remote working

Chase and Holland are working closely with a client based in Nottingham as they recruit for a Purchase Ledger Clerk in a new role due to continued growth. This Purchase Ledger role is working within a fast-paced environment dealing with a high volume of invoices. Previous experience working in a Purchase Ledger role is essential. You will provide exceptional customer service and support to key stakeholders within the business. Support to the team, assisting our Accounts Payable Manager and the wider business with query management and exceptional vendor support.

Purchase Ledger role Responsibilities:

  • Provide support by proactively managing our AP Invoice pool, 3 way matching of all vendor invoices across all our Microlise entities
  • Management of the AP mailbox, timely exchanges with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Liaison with our purchasing dept to resolve business queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Monthly vendor statement reconciliations
  • Delivery of remittance advices and vendor communications
  • Finance administration support to the wider team
  • Payment Run Support
  • Support of the procurement function to conclude queries
Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday 37.5 hour week with home working.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong Excel skills Vlookup, SUMIF), array functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • A real team player and happy to support the wider team with process improvements, resolve issues and "think outside the box"
