GiBe Finance are delighted to be supporting a national brand in Chertsey to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk into an existing team of 5 Purchase Ledger Clerks + Manager.

The role is a high volume processing role (12,000 invoices pass through the department each month) and an OCR tool is used for this.

The business offer 28 days holiday, parking on-site, private healthcare and pension

Hybrid working for this department is 4 days in the office, 1 day from home as they like to keep the team work-ethic. There is a 4pm finish on a Friday and a strict 5pm cut-off each day.

The Role

  • Processing high volumes of invoices
  • 12k invoices pass through OCR tool each month - working in a team of 6, manually check and register each one
  • Three-way match (PO / GRN / supplier invoice)
  • PO number allocation
  • Chasing approvals and tracking down missing POs
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Weekly payment runs

Your Profile

  • Minimum of two years Accounts Payable experience
  • High volume accounts payable experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Effective communicator
