Are you experienced in purchase ledger and immediately available for work? Would you like flexible working from home and the office? I am currently working with a business based in Preston who require a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team for a period of 12 months. My client is happy to provide training if you have basic knowledge in accounts, alternatively if you are experienced and happy to commit to a 12-month contract, I would love to hear from you.

Duties will include:

* Processing a high volume of invoices on a daily basis

* Preparation for payment runs

* Processing credit notes

* Sending remittance to suppliers before payments

* Daily bank reconciliations

* Resolving any complex queries by phone and email

* Producing reports via Microsoft Excel

Your Profile:

* Experience working within accounts is essential

* Strong communication skills

* Ability to prioritise your own work loads

* Confident to meet deadlines set

* Happy to work on your own and as part of a team

In return, you will be offered a salary of £20,000pa, 22 days holiday + Statutory days, onsite parking and flexible working from home and the office. You will be supplied with a company laptop and phone. Quick turnaround and immediate start available.
