Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary up to £22K

T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of a successful and rapidly growing engineering services company based in Gloucester.

This is the opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to make a difference within a new Shared Service Centre for Finance.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities

* Ensure all invoices are authorised and coded to the correct nominal and cost centre codes

* Ensure the correct VAT treatment of invoices

* Be responsible for the execution of weekly supplier payment runs

* Set up new supplier accounts on the Sage system accounting system

* Raise queries with suppliers or internally regarding purchase invoices/credit notes as appropriate

* Communicate with Suppliers by via the phone and email

Key Skills / Qualifications

* Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger role

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong organisational & prioritisation skills

* Ability to build relationships with excellent communication skills.
