Purchase Ledger Clerk

Main duties

Reporting to the finance manager, you will be working within an established finance team.

  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Scanning of documents for storage
  • Generate, check and process payment runs
  • Making ad-hoc payments and payment of proforma invoices on a daily basis
  • Reconciling supplier statements to the ledger
  • High volume invoicing
  • Entering invoices in query into the system with appropriate query type.
  • Maintaining relationship with the suppliers.
  • Setting up new suppliers and carrying out due diligence.
  • Ensure suppliers are paid promptly and within agreed terms


They are looking for the right team fit, so experience working in a structured finance team will be advantageous. Must have experience with high volume invoicing,


19k to 23k - depending on experience. 8.30am to 5pm.
