A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a permanent purchase ledger clerk to join a well established business based in West Bromwich. This role has come about due to retirement and my client is looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk who can manage the function from start to finish on a stand alone basis processing up to 500 invoices per month; your daily duties will include matching batching and coding invoices, processing payments by BACs and cheque, reconciling supplier statements, resolving supplier queries, processing employee expenses, processing subcontractor invoices and assisting in other areas of finance when required.

You will need to be a motivated self starter who can work under minimal supervision. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups).
