Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Location: Wycombe, Bucks

Salary: £12 p/h

Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday - Friday

Job Purpose:

To maintain the companies purchase ledger on the Sage accounting package, including

payments to suppliers, statement reconciliations and purchase ledger queries .

To assist the Finance Director with purchase ledger work to include month end processes.

To assist and manage all aspects of the Helpdesk systems required our client across the UK.

Specific responsibilities:

To operate a system for registering all incoming purchase invoices/credit notes on Sage before sending out for budget holder authorisation.

To check all authorised purchase invoices (including coding) before releasing as 'approved' for payment.

To check all expense claims invoices (including coding) for approval to the budget holders before releasing as 'approved' for payment.

Preparation of the monthly payment schedule for the Finance Director.

To make payments to suppliers by BACS (or by cheque run) on a timely basis.

To ensure all invoices, once approved and paid are filed.

To reconcile suppliers statements and deal with suppliers queries.

To reconcile and review the purchase ledger control account and aged creditors report on a monthly basis.

To receive and action direct telephone, email requests for service in accordance with the Help Desk procedures, answering calls in a professional and personable manner.

To monitor and respond to customer queries to the Help Desk requests to ensure customer satisfaction with the service.

To ensure all quotes requests are logged on a timely basis on the helpdesk system.

To perform any other duties within the Finance Department as may be required from

time to time.

Working relationships:

The Accounts Assistant will be required to work closely and co-operatively with the

finance team, under the guidance and support of the Finance Director.

Developing and maintaining good working relationships with budget holders, suppliers and

customers who use our services.
