Page Personnel is partnering with a successful manufacturing business who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Client Details

Our client is a high successful manufacturing business who have seen rapid growth in the last 12 months. They are based in Southampton and will require travel to their offices.

Description

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Administration of different inboxes where all invoices and statements are received
  • Using the MRP system to match purchase invoices to Proof of Delivery and Purchase Order documents
  • Process invoices in SAGE
  • Administration of Goods Received reports, making sure accurate records are kept
  • Resolve Queries and discrepancies with other departments
  • Process staff expenses
  • Process Credit Card and Paypal receipts and invoices in Sage
  • Keeping relevant records and reports for Intrastat reporting

Profile

In order to be successful for the Purchase Ledger Clerk role, you must:

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Familiar with bookkeeping processes
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiar with accounting packages, especially SAGE 50 - this will be an advantage

Job Offer

Salary £18,000 - £21,000
