Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working on an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and confident Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an industry-leading company based in Sheffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a wealth of experience within purchase ledger who is eager to join a friendly finance team and take on a new challenge in a fast-paced and exciting business. The successful candidate will be hard working, proactive and experienced across all areas of purchase ledger.

The main duties are:

* Processing delivery notes
* Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders
* Recording of the Company's purchase invoices and credit notes
* Checking accuracy of invoices
* Building supplier relations and assisting with queries
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Paying suppliers
* Setting up new suppliers
* Taking care of petty cash
* Having great working relationships with other departments
* Working closely with the Financial Controller to minimise risk and identify benefits
* To assist other members of the team as required

Role requirements include:

* Must have had 2+ years previous experience in an accounts payable function
* IT Literate on Word, Excel and Outlook
* Must be Educated to GCSE Level
* A Good knowledge of the whole finance process
