£20,000pa-£24,000pa pro rata-6 months fixed term contract

The company is one of the largest manufacturers of industrial vehicles in the world and it has several depots across the UK.

In order to cover a temporary staff absence an opportunity has arisen for a purchase ledger clerk to join the team.

As a purchase ledger clerk, you will be joining a busy and vibrant accounts department in order to assist with invoice processing.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Processing of supplier's invoices with valid purchase orders

* Returning invalid invoices to suppliers

* Reconciliation of suppliers' statements

* Preparation and payment of weekly BACS run

* Resolving internal queries

* Opening and distributing post

The successful purchase ledger clerk will have previous experience in finance administration and ideally a few years in an accounts assistant position. You will also have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
