Permanent, Full-Time Vacancy

Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm

Proman is currently working with a leading Manufacturer and are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with experience of supporting a busy Supply Chain company.

Key responsibilities include the following:

Process purchase invoices on the SAP system accurately and in a timely manner
Creating a weekly payment run for domestic and overseas vendors
Ensuring all vendor master data is kept up-to-date, and ensuring there is adequate authorisation for changes to the master data
Monthly reconciliation of a sample of vendor accounts, investigating any discrepancies
Ensuring SAP purchase ledger records are correct and accurate
Maintaining a clean ledger by reviewing old and blocked items
Contact new and existing vendors to request change of payment method to credit card
Ad hoc duties
Essential Skills:

Attention to detail
Accurate input skills
Strong team member
Good communication skills
Proficiency in Excel
Educated to GCSE level
Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of SAP would be desirable
