Our client is currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary to permanent basis for there state of the art premises based in Runcorn :

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be working for a global, reputable manufacturing company and reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll be part of a busy Finance Team, working within the transaction team of 3. The role is to support and assist with the day to day processes of the Accounts Payable Function.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, your duties will be:
" Monitoring and maintaining Accounts Payable Email In-Box
" Data Entry to Infor LN Computer System
" Matching and Coding Invoices
" Reconciling statements
" Requesting copy invoices by telephone or email
" Maintaining data on Excel spreadsheets
" Processing Debit Notes for Supplier Returns
" Supporting colleagues with tasks as and when required

The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk will hold the following skills and experiences:
" Minimum of 3 years proven experience within a busy accounts department maintaining a purchase ledger
" High level of numeracy and attention to detail
" IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
" Accurate and timely data entry skills
" Strong professional communication skills
" Good organisation and prioritisation skills
