The Role - Purchase Ledger Clerk
Reporting to the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager you'll be part of a busy finance department, working within the transaction team of 3. You will take full ownership of the day-to-day processes of the Accounts Payable function. Your duties will include although will not limited to:
* Managing the accounts payable inbox
* Data entry into the Infor LN ERP system
* Matching and coding invoices
* Reconciling statements
* Requesting copy invoices by telephone or email
* Maintaining data on Excel spreadsheets
* Processing debit notes for supplier returns
* Producing BACS runs and ad hoc manual payments
Our Requirements - Purchase Ledger Clerk
* Proven experience within a busy accounts department maintaining a purchase ledger
* High level of numeracy and attention to detail
* IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Methodical
* Self-starter
* Accurate and timely data entry skills
* Strong professional communication skills
* Good organisational and prioritisation skills
* Used to working with minimal supervision
The Package
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, and salary sacrifice healthcare scheme.
You'll be employed on a permanent contract, working Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm and Friday, 8am to 1pm (8am to 4:30pm one in every four Fridays). The successful applicant will work from our company office in Runcorn (Cheshire).
