An established construction company based in Wolverhampton are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the expanding team and take responsibility of the purchase ledger from start to finish and eventually more responsibilities as time goes on. The enthusiastic Accounts Assistant will be working in an experienced team and will be looking to move into a progressive challenging role while carrying out their professional studies.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Position Overview
Reconciling bank accounts
Ensuring suppliers are paid on time
Statement reconciliations
Processing a large volume of purchase invoices
Administrative duties when required
Creating and posting necessary journals

Purchase Ledger Clerk Position Requirements
ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified
Previous experience in finance is essential
A good written and telephone manner when corresponding with clients
A good working knowledge of outlook
A great working attitude
Previous experience with Sage 50 would be advantageous

Purchase Ledger Clerk Position Remuneration
£20,000 - 23,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 9:00am - 17:00pm
29 days holiday allowance including bank holidays
