Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Assistant available for work with an immediate start?

I am looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business based in Bromsgrove on a 3-month temporary basis. This is a role to support the current Purchase ledger Clerk with a back log of duties and support the business with Accounts and Administrative tasks.

The position is full time 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 4pm on a Friday (37 hours) This is a temporary position, and I am looking for candidates that can start immediately. The pay rate is £10 - £12 per hour but negotiable dependent on experience so please APPLY if interested and available.

Duties will include;

*Log and process supplier invoices for payment.
*Liaise with suppliers and managers over invoice queries and payment.
*Process weekly BACS/cheque payment run.
*Post direct debit payments to the purchase ledger, ensuring that they are correctly allocated.
*Maintain creditor accounts, including being pro-active in reducing the volume of transactions processed.
*Investigate outstanding purchase ledger transactions and take any action required to bring these up to date.
*Control petty cash, including reimbursing staff and reconciling the petty cash account.
*Carry out period end procedures for sales ledger and purchase ledger.
*Issue purchase order pads and ensure their correct usage.
*Assist with general administrative duties.

This is a support role for the above duties. If you have had any experience with Purchase Ledger, Accounts or Accounts Administration or have supported in an administrative role in an Accounts department this would be ideal experience.
