A new temporary assignment has become available for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to be based in the Blackpool area. Our client ideally needs someone with a strong background in accounts payable and is confident with the full end-to-end process. If you are immediately available for work and would like to start a new assignment ASAP, this could be a great opportunity for you!

Duties will include:

* Matching and coding invoices

* Dealing with complex queries

* Reconciling supplier statements

* Preparing and running BACS payments

* Calculating VAT

* Setting new suppliers up on the system

Your Profile:

* Confident using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Sage Accounts

* High attention to detail and clear professional telephone manor

* Happy to answer the telephone and deal with queries

* Flexible and happy to roll your sleeves up to help in finance

* Accurate and confident with numbers

In return:

* Full time hours, Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5pm

* Free parking onsite

* Competitive hourly rate - £10 - £12 per hour.
