Purchase Ledger Clerk (Part-Time)

Location: Parkgate, Rotherham, S60 1SD

Contact Type: Permanent, Part-Time (5 days per week Mon-Fri; 3.5 hours per day between 9am and 5pm - times negotiable)

About the Company:

SALUS Controls are looking for an experienced part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to provide a professional and timely accounting service in respect of all purchase ledger activities and responsibilities. The successful candidate will also provide support to the Director of Finance and Financial Controller as and when required.

Reporting directly to the EU Business Financial Controller, he/she will have overall responsibility for Purchase Ledger, enter purchase invoices on to SAP Business One, arrange and enter payments on SAP and monitor/maintain purchase ledger accounts.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:

Reconcile all bank accounts in £,€,$
Manage intercompany invoices
Manage intercompany payment between all our Divisions (inc. overseas)
Provide information as requested for audits
Monitor GL accounts & reconcile
Maintain the fixed asset register
Purchase Ledger Clerk Requirements:

Considerable experience within a similar role (essential)
Must be professional and flexible (essential)
Proficient in full Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (essential)
Must have a "hands-on" and proactive attitude to all tasks (essential)
Knowledge of SAP Business One or equivalent system (highly desirable)
Knowledge of UK VAT & International Trading (highly desirable)
AAT Accountant Technician (desirable)
