Purchase Ledger Clerk for Retail Client based in Salford

Immediate start - 3 months temp role

Client Details

The Client is a large Retail client who is expanding the finance team and is looking for a temp to support the busy team.

Description

The role will involve responsibility for the purchase ledger, alongside others within the team, who you will support and cover when required.

Responsibilities will include:

Posting cash payments and invoices
Performing supplier statement reconciliations
Preparing & reviewing payment runs
3-way matching
Reconciling credit card statements and providing audit support
assist the wider team when and where requiredProfile

The ideal candidate will have worked in a busy Finance team and have experience of working on high volume ledgers. You will be motivated to solve problems, be adaptable and have excellent communication skills to liaise with the wider business, whilst looking for process improvements along the way.
