Well established Lift manufacturing & design company are seeking a motivated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small finance team based in Hertfordshire. The Purchase ledger Assistant will be part of a small team primarily processing the purchase invoices while also reconciling statements at month end.

The Accounts Assistant will also be providing support with the accounts receivable from time to time sending out invoices. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar position relating to purchase ledger work and a good understanding on the general ledger.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Position Overview
Maintaining the purchase ledger mainly focusing on:
Processing purchase invoices monthly
Raising purchase orders
Reconciling supplier statements at month end
Raising invoices for customers
Credit control
General Admin

Purchase Ledger Clerk Position Requirements
2+ years' experience working within a similar role is essential
Able to deal with high volumes of invoices to process monthly
Good experience working with Excel, Outlook & Word
Experience working the general ledger would be preferable

Purchase Ledger Clerk Position Remuneration
£21,000 - £25,000 per annum
Mon - Friday - 9:00am - 17:00pm
25 days holiday allowance + bank holidays
