The Company

This business is a fast growing, very successful business, with Head Offices based in South Leeds. They are looking for a bright and capable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly finance team and take ownership of the Accounts Payable function.

The Job

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be dealing with all aspects of the purchase ledger, be the first point of contact for queries, building successful relationships with internal and external departments.

Administration of purchase ledger accounts
Raise purchase orders
Receive and record invoices from suppliers
Obtain receipts or other verification when accounts are paid
Match and file invoices with their matching receipts
To assist with the payment all invoices in accordance with approved payment terms
Reconcile statements
Payment runs
Investigate and resolve queries
Build and maintain relationships across the group
Ensure spreadsheets are up-to-date
Ensure that invoices are coded correctlyThe Person

End to end Purchase Ledger experience
Sage experience
Proactive with a can do approach
Good systems skills
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Numerically minded
