Purchase Ledger Clerk

Walters People are recruiting for a newly created Purchase Ledger Clerk position for a large organisation based in Lichfield. You will be joining a growing and stable team on a permanent basis.

Your main tasks as Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:
* High volume invoice processing
* Payment runs
* Raising purchase orders
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Liaising with suppliers
* Query resolution
* Ad-hoc additional finance tasks

Minimum Requirements as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
* Proven experience working within a large Accounts Payable department
* ERP system experience
* Proven ability to process high volumes with high accuracy
* Professional demeanour with the ability to build rapport with clients
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Competent user of MS Excel
