Page Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Purchase ledger clerk to join a growing accountancy team based in Warrington. This role will be a varied accounts role and you will be supported and encourage to develop your skill set. Reporting in to the management accountant directly will be a valued member of the team.

This company operate across the UK an internationally providing services to numerous companies that are pivotal to the function and growth of their companies. This company are internationally admired for their innovative approach to there services and customer care. They are seeking to recruit a purchase ledger clerk to join a credible finance team.

Description

This Purchase Ledger clerk role will require:

-Month end assistance

-Accruals and Prepayments

-Credit Card expenses

-Cash expenses

-Supplier statement reconciliations

-Preparation of supplier payments by BACS

-Processing Purchase Ledger invoices

-Customer queries on a day to day basis

-Processing new supplier account forms

-Issue of Purchase Orders

-Supplier database maintenance

-Adhoc accounts payable queries as required

Profile

The successful Purchase ledger clerk will have some of the following:

-Experience in in purchase ledger processing

-Worked with an accounts role previously

-Good knowledge of excel (vlookups and pivots)

-Good interpersonally

-Experience of SAP or Sage
