HOURS: 08.00am - 17.00 pm, Monday - Friday

START DATE: Immediate Start

SALARY: £23,000 - £27,000 pa.

LOCATION: Walking distance to Liverpool Street Station

Our client is looking to add to their existing finance team due to an increase of workload. Our client offers include: full design, selection, procurement and installation of fully integrated Public Health installations using use both traditional and modern methods and technologies adapting to individual needs and requirements of their clients.

Maintaining their company historic ethos and family run values they provide a first-class service driven by their clients\' needs and expectations offering fully Design and Build options to individual Public Health and Mechanical packages to suit.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Receive purchase invoices via post and email, receive delivery notes via internal post
  • Code invoices with project numbers and cost codes
  • Enter invoices onto Sage 50
  • Reconcile supplier statements to Sage supplier ledger
  • Check invoices against delivery notes and/or distribute invoices for authorisation
  • Log invoice queries and disputes - liaise with suppliers requesting credit notes
  • Electronically file authorised invoices using File Stream document management system
  • Prepare monthly creditors payment run
  • Process and allocate payments onto Sage
  • Issue remittance advices to suppliers
  • Checking Order acknowledgements against orders for items placed and costing
  • Filing the orders away in the Order files
  • Checking delivery tickets against our orders
  • Help in chasing outstanding / shortages against our orders

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Experience within the construction industry will be preferred
  • Bubbly, confident
  • Forward thinking, self-motivated
  • Previous purchase ledger experience
