Purchase ledger clerk/Accounts administrator

Description:

Pyramid8 are working with Global business that are looking to recruit a Purchase and Sales ledger clerk for their Castleford site.

This role would suit someone from an administration/data entry background that is looking to join a small, well established finance team.

You must have experience of working within an office environment.

Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Process all sales invoices/ credits in a timely manner ensuring a high degree of accuracy at all times.
  • Process selected sales ledger
  • Scan all POD's
  • Assist in the prompt resolution of customer queries
  • Ensure that all inter-company recharges are invoiced to the appropriate parties, and balance inter-company accounts at month end.
  • Match and process all purchase invoices / credits through to the purchase ledger, ensuring they are accurate, correctly approved and correctly coded.
  • Where purchase invoice variances to GRN / PO exist, follow up and resolve with the purchasing teams before approving for payment.
  • Scan all invoices and supporting documentation
