Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client based in Ipswich who are undergoing a period of growth.

Your role will be to maintain the purchase ledger, liaise with suppliers, building strong working relationships and carrying out account reconciliations/payment runs.

Responsibilities:
• Produce fortnightly payments before authorisation
• Allocate payments and reconcile supplier accounts
• Deal with enquires through email or phone
• Raising ad-hoc payments and staff expenses
• Investigate and correct errors
• Set up accounts and changes in bank details
• Complete ad-hoc duties when required

You will have previous experience in an accounts environment, particularly in Purchase Ledger. Have fantastic attention to detail, a proactive approach and the ability to investigate and amend discrepancies. Previous knowledge of Sage would be an advantage.
