A large FMCG business with an international network across Europe is looking for an Purchase Ledger Assistant - Temp to Perm to join a growing team. Although this is initially a temporary position, there may be the opportunity for this to develop in to a long term permanent role for a candidate that can impress. With their offices being located in Ipswich making it easily commutable to anyone in the local area or based in Colchester, Felixstowe, Bury St. Edmunds.

Description

The key responsibilities for the role of Purchase Ledger Assistant - Temp to Perm will:

Matching and coding invoices on Purchase Order Systems, experience of SAP (desirable)
Maintain and update central journal
Pursuing non-authorised invoices to maintain up to date records
Maintaining supplier statement reconciliations on a timely basis
Processing Petty Cash for site
Scanning & emailing PO invoices to relevant site
Process credit notes within the system
Other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Profile

The successful candidate for the role of Purchase Ledger Assistant - Temp to Perm:

Previous experience in a similar role
Immediately Available and able to start quickly
Previous experience of using similar systems, SAP preferred
Able to input high volumes of invoices
Experience of coding invoices
Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Good interpersonal and communication skills as part of a tight knit team
A positive and analytical personality
