I am working on behalf of a lovely client of mine based in Chessington. My client is looking for a purchase ledger assistant temp on an ongoing basis to assist them within their small accounts department. You will be working alongside the management accountant and your main responsibility will be to look after the purchase ledger. The role will be ongoing temp initially but there could be the opportunity to turn permanent for the right candidate. Although previous experience is ideal, they will consider someone who is studying for accountancy qualifications who is looking to gain an entry role into finance as initial training will be given.

Your duties as the purchase ledger clerk will include:Processing all invoices daily onto Sage 50Assisting with the payment runsPosting sales invoices onto sageResponsible for the accounts inbox and dealing with queries, supplier statements and general finance assistance.

You will be required to work in the office full time for initial training then you will work 3 days from the office and 2 from home.

Parking available onsite and the hours worked are: 08.30- 17.00 (37.5).

This role will pay £12.31 PAYE or £15.26 per hour via an umbrella company.
