Purchase Ledger Assistant

Grantham

Permanent Role

£19,500k with annual bonus OTE £20,250k

8am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday 8am - 1.30pm Friday

Our Grantham based client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their friendly team. The successful candidate will be manging the Ledgers for 3 separate companies.

Duties of a Purchase Ledger Assistant include:

Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders.

Request invoices from suppliers for parts received

Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details

Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements

Processing BACS payments and allocating payments to supplier accounts

Liaise with suppliers and staff to deal with any invoice queries

Scanning invoices and filing delivery notes

Submit reports to the HMRC on imported and exported parts monthly

Reconcile petty cash

In order to be considered for the role of Purchase Ledge Assistant candidates must have:

Previous purchase ledger experience

Intermediate Word and Excel skills

Enjoy working in a small friendly team

Be a self-disciplined and efficient
