Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant
Salary: £19,500

Our client who operate in the retail sector are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the team. Reporting into the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring that all suppliers are correctly paid in a timely manner.

*Scan Supplier invoices, ensuring that all information has been correctly identified
*Match Supplier stock invoices against purchase orders to ensure that correct levels of stock purchased have been correctly delivered at the correct price
*Input invoices onto the system - 1,000 to 2,000 per month
*Ensure all invoices are logged onto the invoice register before distribution for authorisation
*Code authorised non stock invoices and post onto the relevant Supplier accounts
*Raise Supplier payments
*Allocate Supplier payments
*Ensure all outstanding GRNI transactions are valid
*Ensure all outstanding entries on the invoice register are valid
*Reconcile purchase ledger accounts to Supplier statements on a monthly basis
*Liaise with Product Managers / Stock Control and Suppliers should any stock or price queries arise, ensuring that any discrepancies are rectified in a timely manner
*Scan and archive credit notes and nominal invoices into relevant

You will be experienced in processing high volumes of invoices and have strong reconciliation skills. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a busy team.
