Redmill Consulting's client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant for an exciting new permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for you to take responsibility for a busy accounts payable function within a busy commercial Edinburgh based business.


The job of Purchase Ledger Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

* Purchase ledger processing including coding (approx. (Apply online only) per week of varying values)

* Ensuring appropriate authorisation of all invoices via AP system

* Preparing reconciliations

* Using Sage & Microsoft Excel

* Assisting with other aspects of finance is possible

* Building and maintaining relationships with staff in other departments

* Ad hoc administration duties


As Purchase Ledger Assistant you will ideally be skilled and/or qualified in the following:

* Skilled in carrying out the above tasks

* You must be confident in Excel (exporting data) and previous knowledge of accounting packages such as Sage would be an advantage

* Capable of working in a fast-paced commercial environment

* Organised

* Positive attitude
