The Role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to work on behalf of our client based in Leicester who are experiencing a high workload currently as their business continues to grow.

This role will be to ensure that all invoices and credit notes are processed, all queries are dealt with in a timely manner, so that invoices are available to be paid in accordance with supplier payment terms.

Areas of Responsibility will include:

Matching and processing invoices

Inputting invoices onto Sage

Downloading reports from Sage to MS Excel

Pulling accurate reports together

First point of contact for answering telephone calls and dealing with queries

Looking after clock-cards within the business

Ad-hoc Reception and administration duties

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Experience in Accounts Payable

Happy to be an all-rounder and undertaking administration as well as purchase ledger work

Sage would be an advantage but not essential

MS Excel is essential

A team player and also able to work on your own initiative

Hours of work are 39 hours per week and will either be 7.30am to 4pm OR 8.30 to 5.15 Monday to Thursday with a 3pm finish on a Friday
