BUUK Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Analyst to optimise purchase to pay processes, adhering to payment terms and foster good working relationships internally and with external suppliers undertaken by the Finance department. This full time, 6 month fixed term position is based at our office in Woolpit.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of working within an accounts environment. While it is not essential that you have had previous experience within this sector before, you must have experience in using Microsoft Office software. Training on our systems and the company will be provided.

Responsibilities will include -

* Process Purchase Ledger Invoices promptly and accurately for various companies in the group.

* Process Purchase Ledger Payments promptly and accurately, taking into account payment terms

* Daily monitoring of EDI processes & Daily reconciliation of Wolseley/UPS accounts across the group, ensuring timely posting of invoices and month end payments

* Processing of all Expenses / Barclaycard returns. Preparation of employee payment instructions to HR and related GL journals

* Reconcile Purchase Ledger Statements

* Liaise with suppliers and deal with disputed invoices, ensuring a professional and courteous approach is maintained in all circumstances to foster good working relationships with key suppliers

* Aid in the checking of and processing of all group company payment runs through Barclays online banking, adhering to SOX controls and Bank Mandates

* Liaise with purchase requisitioners and approvers in the business to ensure prompt payment and correct treatment for any disputed invoices
