Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a successful, growing company based in Uckfield and they are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Job description:

To assist with purchase ledger and other accounts administration.

Purchase ledger - to ensure supplier invoices are input and paid on a timely basis in a professional manner. Concur Expenses - to assist efficient administration of business expense claims and General Ledger - assist preparation and entry of month end general ledger journals and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger

* Ensure all supplier invoices are correct and approved by the appropriate Manager

* Ensure invoices are entered correctly onto the Exflow AX system and coded accurately

* Supplier payment runs

* Setting up new suppliers and amending master data on AX

* Construction industry administration - processing invoices, making payments, preparing returns

* Month end intercompany confirmations, intercompany netting reconciliation and payment

* Credit card and trade card expenditure reconciliations

Concur Expense system

* Processing and payment of business expense claims through the Concur system. Claiming VAT on expenses

General Ledger

* Assist preparation and entry of month end general ledger journals and balance sheet reconciliations

* Any other duties as allocated by the Line Manager

Person specifications:

Essential

* Prior experience and good track record working in an accounts department

Desirable

* Microsoft Dynamics Knowledge

* Knowledge of MS Office products - Word, Excel, Outlook

* Knowledge of computer-based accounting systems

Salary of £21,000 - £25,000 plus excellent company benefits
