Purchase Ledger Assistant - FTC

At Excelcare we have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our Finance Department and report into the Head of Financial Operations. Your role will be to support the purchase ledger function during the implementation of the purchase ledger and purchase management system.

Excelcare are family owned and operate 32 Nursing and Care homes in the South East, a Domiciliary Care Division and Social Accommodation. We are a progressive care provider with a clear vision, strong leadership and ambitious growth and change plans.

What you can expect:

  • Based at our Head Office in Bromley, Kent
  • Salary: up to £25,000 depending on experience
  • Fixed Term Contract for 3-6 months
  • Immediate start is desired
  • Working hours from 9:00am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Matching purchase orders to invoices
  • Posting invoices onto SAP Business One
  • Matching and reconciling invoices to payments made
  • Assist where required with other ad-hoc duties.
  • Requirements:
  • Solid experience of purchase ledger processes and systems
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Great attention to details
  • Strong IT skills including Excel and SAP B1
  • Minimum two years of purchase ledger experience
