Purchase Ledger Assistant - 6 Month Contract

Description:

Our client is extremely busy at the moment and they are currently looking for someone to join them to specifically focus on a project in finance.

Starting as soon as possible the position will be responsible for reviewing suppliers accounts and checking transactions and duties will include;

Requesting statements of account from clients
Reconciling payments to remittances and highlighting anomalies
Reconciling statements
Requesting historical statements
Working with external parties to resolve incorrect payments and allocate correctly
Ad hoc duties

In a perfect world the right candidate for this role will have proven experience in purchase ledger and reconciliations. However, if you are looking for your first step in to accounts and have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines, then this will be a great opportunity for you to gain practical experience in finance.

Once you have been trained, this role can be worked on a hybrid basis and there is plenty of parking onsite.
