Purchase Ledger Administrator

We are proud to be working with an established multi-disciplinary service provider specialising in civils, maintenance, and engineering services. They are a PLC company and major supplier to the Railway Industry and now seek an ambitious and professional Administrator to join them at their North-West London offices. You will report to and work closely with the Financial Controller. You will be a very important member of the finance team and further career progression will be encouraged. This is a company who value their staff and support them with their career ambitions. Your main function in the team will be looking after the many purchase ledger tasks the company are dealing with and ensuring all administration is run smoothly in dealing with them. You do need previous good administration experience in dealing with different tasks in the finance department, but most importantly what we seek is a good all-round administrator who is confident with the Microsoft packages and has the determination, patience, and confidence to deal with working in a polite and professional manner in a busy finance department.

We are seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. If you have passion, drive, and determination to support a busy Finance Team and would like to work with a business who offer their clients a fantastic service then this position could be for you. You must have good communication skills and a confident telephone manner.

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Previous use of MS Office suite - ideally a good understanding of Excel
- You will always work accurately and be able to work well under pressure
- You will have some previous experience of working in a finance department ideally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Processing invoices onto Finance system and other associated Accounts filing
- Handling supplier queries
- Managing the Accounts queries inbox
- Sorting the supplier statements and reconciliations

-Telephone suppliers to rectify incorrect billing

-Other general accounting tasks.

The office is very near Stonebridge Park Tube Station.

  • Hours 8.00-5.30pm
  • Location: Stonebridge Park, London NW10.
  • Salary is £20-23k + good holidays + benefits
