Purchase Ledger/Sales Administrator

We have been instructed by this busy motor trade client to recruit a Purchase ledger/Sales administrator. The role will be working within both purchase ledger and sales administration, this is a hybrid role and training will be offered in both areas. You will come from either an accounts payable or a sales administrator background.

Detail of some of the required tasks.

  • Reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers (i.e. purchase and sales etc) to the nominal ledger control account.
  • Facilitate petty cash, cashiering and banking functions.
  • Assist in performance of daily and weekly bank reconciliation.
  • Assist in running various payroll duties.
  • Work closely with the individual members of the sales team.
  • Coordinate preparation of customer orders within the Sales, Finance Dept.
  • Organise new and used vehicle registration and taxation.
  • Liaise with workshop on outstanding jobs and keep customers up dated.
  • Offer a general administration/clerical function to the Accounts Department operating to Company procedures.
