Accounts Payable Administrator

I am recruiting for a highly reputable and long-term client of Pure, who are looking for Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy finance team for a 24 month FTC

You will be responsible for:

• Scanning and registration of supplier invoices into the ERP system
• Matching invoices to the relevant purchase orders
• Dealing with invoice queries both internally and externally
• Obtaining approvals within the current control framework for non-purchase order invoices and coding accurately to the general ledger
• Completion of supplier statement reconciliations
• Filing of paid invoices
• Maintaining a section of the Accounts Payable ledger
• Maintenance of supplier records
• Assisting with raising and sending payments and any other duties, as required.

Key Requirements for the role:

• Purchase Ledger experience- 2 years+
• Have knowledge of Purchase orders/PO's and the impact of not matching correctly with the invoice
• Previous experience working with high volumes
• Have great attention to detail
• Problem solver
• To be able to cope with a changing environment
• Confident, personable character who is able to work together to meet deadlines
• To be able to work as part of a team effectively
