In order to maintain our high standards we need a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our friendly team and support the day-to-day running of the Purchase Ledger, maintaining ledger accuracy and integrity and assisting in the preparation of payments. This is a great role for someone who enjoys an energetic and fast pace, where you have responsibility for your own part of the ledger and can take ownership of your workload.
What will I be doing?
* Processing up to 250 invoices a day so attention to detail and accuracy are essential
* You will provide efficient resolution of any invoice queries
* Manage supplier accounts building rapport to resolve queries quickly and effectively
* Assisting in monthly reconciliations and month-end close of Purchase Ledger
* Maintaining ledger accuracy and integrity and assist in the preparation of payment runs
* Carry out other ad-hoc duties necessary to ensure the smooth running of ledger and accounts function.
What are we looking for?
* Experience of working in a Purchase Ledger function is desirable
* Ability to input and process invoices quickly and accurately
* Good level of computer literacy especially Microsoft Word & Excel
* Basic understanding of accounting principles
* Excellent internal and external customer service skills
* Excellent planning & organisational skills
* Ability to problem-solve and make decisions
* Strong team working skills
