Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator who offers a good understanding of general accounts support

The Company

Seymour John are recruiting for our client based in Bridgnorth, who are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant who will be joining their manufacturing facility based in Bridgnorth.

The Opportunity
Working as part of this friendly finance team where your main responsibilities will include:

  • Processing of purchase orders, invoices, credit notes and payments.
  • Liaising with the Purchasing Manager and Buyers.
  • Communicating with the suppliers.
  • To manage and control the processing of payments and receipts
  • Banking cheques received, collection of petty cash and foreign currency as necessary
  • Provide support for any finance related task across the whole Team to ensure the smooth running of the Department

Personal Profile

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in an accounts environment, with strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships. Whilst your main focus will be accounts payable, we are looking for an individual that is willing to offer support in other areas of Finance, where there is room for career progression for the right person. You will need the ability to work to deadlines whilst working as part of a team. We are looking for a problem solver, who is competent in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word & Excel.
