Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant , Ashton under Lyne
A well-established SME family run manufacturing company servicing major high street and online outlets are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager within most areas of the Finance Department.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, who is looking for a long-term position and where they would be supported in future development.
Main duties would initially involve:
* Overall purchase ledger responsibility
* Mid and Month end payment runs
* Sales ledger/credit control
* Bank reconciliation
* Managing royalty and commission payments
* General ad hoc duties
The Ideal Candidate:
* Purchase ledger experience
* AAT part or fully qualified or equivalent part qualified
* Sage 50 experience
* Excellent excel skills
You would be joining a successful business within a supportive team, managing all the above processes and would be encouraged to develop your involvement over time in all areas of the Accounts Department.
