As a result of our clients continued ongoing success, we are seeking an Accounts Assistant to work alongside their purchase ledger team. You will be expected to reconcile supplier statements and provide support to the accounts department. This role is a vital one, you will need good communication skills, be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel. The ability to achieve deadlines is essential.

You will need to be well organised and proficient in dealing with the 'unexpected'. You will enjoy working alongside others as part of a team. You will need to be adaptable, confident and able to adapt with the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

* Aged creditor reviews

* Matching credits to existing claims.

* Reconciling supplier statements.

* Liaising with internal and external colleagues to resolve outstanding disputes.

* Supporting the accounts department where needed.

Skills & Requirements:

* Efficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Excellent working in a team or alone

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday with normal working hours of 08:45-17:30
