Part time Purchase Ledger Assistant

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading pharmaceutical business based in the heart of Cambridge as a Purchase Ledger. This role is a newly created position due to growth within the business, and is being recruited on a 20 hour per week basis, across either 4 or 5 days depending on the preference of the successful individual. Due to the process and systems the organisation use, this role will be 100% based from day one.

As the incoming Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be tasked with the following set of responsibilities:
- Preparing, matching and posting purchase invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Coding of expense claims
- Review VAT coding's
- Additional duties at the discretion of the line manager

In order to be successful in this position, you will ideally display the following set of skills and attributes:
- Previous experience working in a Purchase Ledger role, ideally for at least 2 years
- Excellent IT and system skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong to attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload efficiently and effectively
