My client is a very reputable professional and commercial business with a team of 6 in Credit Control. They are looking for a new addition to the team that they can train up within Credit Control. You will ideally have some experience of working in administration or finance and have an interest in doing credit control. Credit controllers are typically people who enjoy talking to others, who are good at building relationships and thrive in a target orientation environment.

You are not expected to be able to do all these duties but this is what you will be trained to do:

• Chasing outstanding debts by telephone, email and letter, working to weekly cash collection targets
• You will be chasing debts from large corporate customers as well as smaller businesses
• Focusing on reducing age debt over 90 days old
• Investigating and resolving invoice & customer queries
• Setting up new accounts and making amendments to customers details
• Assisting with providing information for reporting
• Identifying & resolving unallocated cash receipts from the bank statement
• Working as part of a credit control team
• Maintaining relationships with customers as well as internally

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• At least 6-12 months administration or finance
• Excel experience Confident enthusiastic individual who wants to learn
• Attention to detail
• Self motivated / strong worth ethic
