Role Outline:

£19K - £21K - Permanent - Full Time, (Monday to Thursday 9am - 5.30pm and Friday 9am - 5pm) - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 30 by 1 day each year of service - Birthday Off - Auto Enrolment Pension - Healthcare Scheme - Life Assurance - Perk Box, (discounts on 100s of stores and companies) and more!

The Role:

Sitting as part of the Credit Control team, you will be liaising with business over the phone who have outstanding debt, resolving queries and ensuring payment is made.

Key duties of the Junior Credit Controller include:

* Working within the Credit Control team to promote the collection of debt and prevention of further debt through effective customer account management.

* Making and receiving calls to business customers to maximise cash collection.

* Applying effective decision making to ensure correct credit action is taken to progress each case.

* Identifying queries and communicate with the relevant department to resolve.

* Working within a team to meet collection targets as set by the Credit Control Manager.

* Focusing on converting customers to Direct Debit payment.

* Negotiating suitable payment plans with business customers.

* Associated administration.

The Successful Junior Credit Controller:

Although Credit Control experience would be beneficial, if you have a strong customer service background and meet the other requirements below, we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate MUST:

1. Ideally have some Credit Control experience, (please see above).

2. Have experience of liaising with customers over the phone via outbound and inbound contact - you must be happy being on the phone, it\'s a large part of this role!

3. Be passionate about providing a first-class customer experience.

4. Be a great communicator, who can keep calm when faced with difficult scenarios and utilise negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

5. Be resilient - sometimes customers can push back.

6. Administration experience.
